Through his long career within the water industry Philip has a proven track record in the following areas: -  

Development of key industry policies and standard agreements at the national level in relation to - Sewers for Adoption, Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS), Self Lay of Water Mains, Home Information Packs;

Involvement in New Roads and Street Works and Traffic Management Acts, Private Sewers legislation, Environmental Liability Directive, Section 101A (rural sewers) applications and processes, Environmental Information Regulations;

Water and sewerage law generally;

Development of specialist operating agreements with external companies;

Formation of policies and procedures in relation to the connection of infrastructure to new developments including resolution of development related problems/disputes, diversion/building over sewers and water mains;

Experience in IT project management, including the development and implementation of major IT systems covering workflow and mapping systems;

Mediation and dispute resolution;

GIS through the management of a land terrier;

Management of the Asset Management team of 10 people;

Excellent problem solving skills.
